Using Pictures With Passion for Vendors- Third Go Around

When you arrive at the URL you will see a new layout which will have a picture change soon I hope. Since I have had so many problems with the website I am offering to pay up to $20 for a photo for the homepage slider as an incentive to get all of you photographers to upload your photos. I am looking for a nature or sunset photo but you never know what will enlighten me to showcase on the website.

This is the homepage or shop page now and to be honest I don’t think it gives the site a good greeting. I am looking for your artwork since this is a community of artists, I think that it should have an artist appeal. Some of you came for the information on how to use the website. So let me get to it!

You will see [My Account] in the links bar on the website. Click there:

When you click the [My Account] link you will be directed to the login page where you will sign up for an account or login. If you are an existing vendor use your username and password to login on the left. If you are looking to become a vendor sign up on the right.

After you sign in you, you will see this page:

This is a little different but you should get a better understanding of how to use the website and set up your account with this wizard. Now click the Let’s Go button.

Here, your store name and your contact information are asked for. Fill it in and click continue.

On this page you will select the default and accept PayPal Payout as your payment method.

You are about done with this process. From here you can visit the dashboard, configure your payment information which should be to add your PayPal email. You can also go to the Store customization page. First we will add the Payment information.

After you put in your PayPal email address from this page you can add a product from the Add Product link at the top of this page next to the picture of the box.

First you will select a category for the photo. Then come to the next step where you will give your product a Title, a description, and upload the product picture.

After doing so, you can scroll to the button of the page and on the right you will have a checkbox for Downloadable. Check it and the button to upload the photo for download will appear.

Using the New Pictures With Passion Website to Sell Your Photos

As you know, I have changed the look and workings of the Pictures With Passion website. I have had a few people tell me that they need help understanding how to use the platform to sell their photos. So as promised, I am making new screenshots to explain how to use the website.

This is the first page you visit when you go to the website which is the homepage. Below the title, Pictures With Passion you see the website links or pages that you can click to go to other pages. There, look for the login link and click it then enter your login information.

The next page is what you see after you login.

After you have logged in you need to click the Vendor Dashboard link. You will see this page.

The next thing you need to do is click the Add New Product link under where is says Vendor Dashboard Shown here:

Then you will see this page where you will be uploading your photos to become your sales products.

First at the top of the page, under Add New Product give your product a name. After that you will click the link below it to Add media.

When you click the link you will see your media library where you can upload and store the photos you will sell.

You should go ahead and click the product image link before uploading as this will save time later.

After you click Select Files you will be seeing the common files folder for Windows if you use Windows PC or whatever computer operating system you use.

Select the photo that you want to add that matches the product you named. I will upload a picture of a mag wheel I designed in 3D Autodesk Fusion 360.

Now you need to use your Search Engine Optimization skills to label and set the caption of the picture. That will help the search engines find your photos providing you describe them well. Circled in black is your set product image button. After you are through filling out your photo information click the button. If you select the wrong picture the delete permanently will reset the Product image and you can select from your computer again.

The next thing you need to do is click Virtual and Downloadable to set the system for your photo to be able to be downloaded.

That will add the add file box below Sale Price where you will add the file to allow your customers to download the photo and also name the file for them in their customer collection on the website.

Go ahead and price your photos then click the add file button in the third box down to name the download and make the file downloadable like so.

Name your file and add your image to download

Now you have your photo ready for download and you are ready to add your product tags which describe the product and add your categories so that when people search for something they can find it as the website gets more products which are circled in blue. The top circle in green is the final button to push which will publish to the website.

This website is new to all of you, but I hope you find it interesting enough to join as an selling artist or a customer. I am now getting the word out about Pictures With Passion and will be doing that from now on. That is part of running a website. As you visit and hopefully share the link to this our website, we hope you like what you see and even purchase from us. Pictures With Passion was designed as a community effort to sell art while some of the profits go to get the word out.

I will be able to update the blog between April 14-20 of 2021. I will be able to take screen shots then and post a new blog about how to upload and price photos. The main part of the second blog post on this site tells how to do it, but I was using a different layout then. Still it is basically the same, if you have problems you can email me. Speaking for the small community of artist we have now, we hope that you bookmark our page and return often to see new pictures other artists’ work!

What are the benefits as a selling photographer or artist you ask? We are building a strong community where the Vendors (artists and photographers) get 80% of the sell and the website gets 20% to go to upkeep and advertising. Welcome to the blog for the Pictures With Passion Website. We are glad to say that most of the kinks are out of the website and we have had our first sale! Recently we had our first photographer post some of her work and that was the first milestone. We have now reached the second milestone of having a sale. What will be the next milestone? What do you want out of the website? I am going to advertise the website in the next few days with hoping to get more photographers and artist on board and some sales as well.

If you are looking for a place to sell your artwork and photography then you are in the right place. We are looking for you and hoping you will jump on board with us. Pictures With Passion was started so that the photographer that no one knows can have a shot at selling their artwork. Maybe you draw and would like to sell your artwork on the site. You know, some artist are “found” that way. Just scan your drawings and upload them as a jpg, or png, then price them to sell. Right now, people are looking for doodle art for websites, short books, and they will hire the artist for more work later. Maybe you want to sell a group of pictures that tell a story. Those opportunities for photographers and artists are why Pictures With Passion came to be.

Pictures With Passion was thought up by my niece, which after I designed and got the website up and running, has still not uploaded any pictures. But, as I explained to her and now explain to you, the Pictures With Passion website is a chance for the community of photographers to help each other make money. I take a percentage of the sales and use that to market the website URL That marketing brings in more sales and more members for a the community to help bare the burden of getting sales.

Looking to market just your pictures? Create and share links to your storefront. Vendors can have a profile that helps them market and sell not only their work but themselves. In marketing any product, it comes around to how well you can sell yourself. Here on Pictures With Passion you have that shot. The best thing about doing it here, your artwork is right there so your portfolio will show more of your work and be less burdened by your flaws. Where do I start you ask? I am looking ways to share your artwork on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and more, I am trying to add share links so that you can share links from your profile on Pictures With Passion to your profile on your social media accounts. That is part of marketing as over time I will explain. Just about all job seekers and entrepreneurs have to have social media to make it these days. More on that in the next post. Making Site Changes For The Next Few Days

I apologize for all the layout pages and the site being down. The platform that I developed this site from, WordPress, has made changes and I am trying to keep up. With the new updates some features needed coding changes and so on.

I have fixed the New Password link so you can get into your accounts without me have to personally send you an login password. The Vendor Dashboard can only be viewed if you are logged in. In the last two days there has been almost 500 visitors to the website and sadly it was down much of that time. I will work on, later today, getting new directions up on the blog here to tell how to work the website. I added Social Media links to the website. You can click on them and share a message to your accounts and that will add a link back to the website on your social media account and help you spread the word about your work.

Again I can’t thank all of you enough for your patience as I work the bugs out of the website. I admit that I made mistakes and I have things to learn about working this platform. With that said I will continue to keep my head in the books and strive to keep the website up and running correctly. To be honest I can’t check that all the features work without having to login with another account. So any flaws found you can report to me and I will get on them. Pictures With Passion is taking off!

Today marks the first uploads on Pictures With Passion that are not my own. I would like to thank Photos by Ashley for taking that leap and becoming the website’s first Vendor! Now that we have jumped that first milestone, I would like to encourage more people to follow in her footsteps. Her photos were so beautiful that I began to take down my filler content. I am looking forward to one of the web designers that I have mentioned this site to buy from her.

While my work is not done getting this website where it is well known and people remember it before any other art sales website, I am taking a fifteen minute break to enjoy this moment. I have been writing emails to freelance photographers and website designers/developers. I have been writing blog post to inform my followers at Network Solutions 4 You and more.

Many art sales websites have you to submit your work for review or limit what is art. I didn’t on this website and here is why. I develop websites and I have been dead broke and needed art and photos for a website. One website I needed something for a background picture that had an array of color but didn’t distort the viewers ability reading the website text. The photo I used for the background of the website was a very bright blurry photo of the skyline and some tree tops. That was inspiration to allow people to post what they see as art and try to see it as art as they see it!

As this website gets traffic I am asking that the vendors and customers inform us of flaws, illegal art, and what we can do to make it better. Thank you all and have a blessed week! Remember modern art is not what you think it is, it is more. Still yet, most modern art is yet to come!

The Pictures With Passion Website has a new look!

I have changed things around and made the website ready for the public. I noticed somethings were not working so I fixed them. I apologize for them not working before. I can’t take screen shots from this computer so I can’t show the steps for selling pictures. Truly that has not changed. Just go to Shop Settings and follow the rest of the instructions in the former blog post. You just don’t have the Seller/Vendor dashboard on the front page.

While I hope that you make a lot of money selling your pictures, I mostly pray that you have fun and use this site to display your talent. You can reference your pictures on this site and use it in your portfolio for jobs, school, whatever you want. You have permission to print business cards and promote your work on this site as well.

As of right now I have only made one purchase on the site to make sure the PayPal works and everything is good to go. I will do my best to post and announce when we have our first true sale that is not my picture or me testing the site. Have a blessed week both you and yours!!

Hello Good People. The Pictures With Passion Website is Almost Ready

Today I will be getting the website URL redirected to the website and find time to breathe a little. This website was a project that started out as a way to help my nieces sell there pictures and become known in Photography. The goal is to make money for the photographer and create a lasting impression on the buyer.

While we try to market this the best we can and it helps if you share URLs with your friends and family, as well as post them on Facebook and other places. As I stated before the funds raised from the membership fees and the 15% the website makes from each sale is to market, host and up keep the website. The more we can market the more you make selling pictures.

Seller/Vendor Instructions

Above is the homepage of the website. On the right is the Vendor dashboard. If you are a new Vendor go to Membership login to pay the membership fee and login. If you have an account go to the Vendor Dashboard link in the Vendor Dashboard navigation menu as shown below.

That will take you to the next screen where you can login. It is that simple.

Type in your login username or email address and password. Then you will be directed to this page:

Then you need to click the Vendor Dashboard login link again:

You will be taken to this page in the screen shot shown below.

Look at the light yellow writing right under Vendor Dashboard on the left. That is where you control your shop settings and add products.

Under Vendor Dashboard on the left of your page you will see View Your Store, Store Settings, Add New Product, Edit Products. To list your pictures go to Add New Product:

As you can see Above you can add the Product name. For pictures which is all you can sell on this site at the bottom middle check the box next to downloadable.

Then next to regular price type in the price you want t sell the picture for in the format 0.99, 1.99 and so on. Then scroll down to see the rest of the settings.

You have the settings of how many copies of the picture they can download which is set to unlimited by default. You can change this. You have a description at the bottom. The

section on the right are places to make a photo gallery if you have more than one picture in the download and Product image which is the picture the public will see of your product. You will want to Watermark these pictures.

Next you will need to scroll back up to the top to set the tags and category on the right.

After you go and select your category you can publish which is in the top right.

Then to add another item you just start over.
